At Advanced Medical Group, our Cardiology department is led by Dr. Merwin Richard, MD — a board-certified interventional cardiologist with over 35 years of experience at Mount Sinai, Columbia University and Jersey City Medical Center. Dr. Richard is supported by a team of experienced cardiac physician assistants who extend cardiology care across all AMG locations.
We offer comprehensive cardiac evaluations and in-office diagnostic testing — from echocardiography and stress testing to remote cardiac monitoring and pacemaker management — all without the wait and inconvenience of a hospital cardiology department.

Working closely with Dr. Richard to extend cardiology care across all AMG locations.
Our cardiac physician assistants work directly under Dr. Richard's supervision — performing cardiac evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, managing chronic cardiac conditions and coordinating care across AMG's primary care and cardiology departments. Their presence across our 10 locations means patients don't always need to travel to North Bergen for routine cardiac follow-up care.
